AllenbridgeEpic Appointed by West Sussex County Council
AllenbridgeEpic Investment Advisers Limited (AllenbridgeEpic) is pleased to announce that West Sussex County Council has appointed it as the independent chairman of its Pension Advisory Board (the Board).
Peter Scales OBE, CPFA, a Senior Adviser with AllenbridgeEpic and a member of AllenbridgeEpic’s Investment Panel, will act as the individual chairing the Board.
In that capacity, Peter will be providing leadership and direction to the Board with the aim of enabling the Board to fulfill their responsibilities in respect of the governance of the West Sussex County Council Pension Fund in accordance with the Public Service Pension Scheme Act 2013, legislation governing the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and the Code of Practice issued by the Pension Regulator.
His role is to work closely in partnership and assist the Scheme Manager in relation to securing compliance, ensuring any breach of duty is considered, and in assisting the Scheme Manager to ensure the effective and efficient governance and administration of the scheme.
